About Us

We’ve worked for ourselves and we’ve worked for others.  We know that working for ourselves is the best way to live and promote the values we’ve always held dear. Like having integrity, caring about and promoting your people’s complete wellbeing and potential, and playing the long game.

With career backgrounds across diverse sectors like IT, engineering, manufacturing, construction, recruitment and energy, we’ve seen our industries disaggregated, get disrupted, and wholly transformed. And we know the future of work is a more revolutionary change coming than anything we’ve seen before.

In this future, we think a human-centric approach is more important than ever. By being transparent, doing what you say you’re going to do, practicing empathy often, and not cutting corners, we hope to test our inner artisans with developing people one at a time, bit by bit, with respect and care.

Our vision is to build a high performance talent agency, letting technology professionals get their stories told. We want to recruit technology people who have the potential to be their best, develop and coach them to maximise their strengths, and look to match them to opportunities they most wish to engage with. As we grow our talent pool and influence with engaging organisations, we will broaden our support to those more in need - such as those with hard to solve employment challenges like the intellectually disabled - and seek to build a rising tide that lifts all our boats.

Quality never went out of style, nor did great service. We want to prove there’s an essential place for both when finding and developing people for the workplaces of today and the future.

Pablo Campillos

Having worked in the US and the UK for close to 10 years across telecoms, IT, and engineering sectors, Pablo returned home in 2003 to Western Australia and co-founded Diagnios, a consultancy specialising in human resources and market development activities. It was through Diagnios that Pablo would be introduced to the energy sector which would dominate his focus for the next 15 years.

Once grown to ten staff and a few million dollars of annual revenue, Pablo switched tack, founding DMTenergy in 2009, a startup delivering demand response and energy management services. He quickly raised in excess of $1 million to establish the startup and secure 50MW of capacity within the newly formed WA electricity market. By mid-2010, he was approached by the industry goliath, EnerNOC (now EnelX) and was able to steer through a highly successful sale for his angel investors, securing them returns in excess of 500% after a little less than 2 years.

Ensconced in EnerNOC, Pablo held a series of senior leadership roles over the next 7 years. He established the WA team and grew revenues to more than $40 million annually, moved on to manage the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) market development teams, before being responsible for the establishment and leadership of the Asia-Pacific market development team spanning ANZ, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, with annual sales in excess of $85 million. EnerNOC was acquired by Fortune 100 utility Enel in July 2017.

Pablo has worked across multiple regions, cultures, and diverse teams. Having to strategise across new markets and product development opportunities, he’s had to lead teams that can execute against targets on a consistent basis, and often with little infrastructure to begin with. He knows what it means to build from the ground up, and how to avoid the perfect being the enemy of the good.

Having taken a break after the demands of working across APAC, Pablo has transformed his health and wellbeing, now enjoying the pounding of pavements and trails as a runner in search of new challenges and landscapes (there’s always another marathon…).

Ben Armstrong

After a decade in the hospitality and tourism industries in Australia and overseas, Ben recognised his intrinsic passion working with people was the platform he needed to build upon. Returning to WA, he jumped into the recruiting game with a new start-up, focusing on the construction sector. His efforts contributed to the firm’s speedy organic growth from 5 to 50+ employees, and Ben progressed to help lead the WA business, playing a key role in mentoring junior and senior staff. During this time, his firm won multiple BRW Fast Starters awards (2009 – 2011), a BRW Best Place to work award (2012), and he was awarded with their National Business Leader award in 2011.

Ben’s external recruitment capabilities didn’t go unnoticed when he was head-hunted in 2012 for an opportunity to replicate his prior success with an internal recruitment team. Working for the country’s leading IT managed services provider, Ben dove deep within the dynamic IT services sector, enhancing the firm’s Talent Acquisition team’s capabilities, capacity, and end-to-end resourcing processes and systems to enable their workforce to grow in excess of 170% over 3 years (from 600 to 1000+ employees).

Tackling internal recruitment requirements via an outsourced external agency became Ben’s next challenge when in 2015 he was appointed the WA Manager for Defence Force Recruiting, at the time the country’s largest Recruitment Process Outsourcing agreement with the Australian Defence Force. Responsible for a team of more than 30 civilian and military staff, Ben went to work boosting operational tempo and performance, and improving the region’s vacancy fulfillment rate for the Army, Navy and Airforce.

Ben’s work with the Australia Defence Force lead to a significant opportunity to boost the capabilities of global technology and engineering company, thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions Australia. Leading their internal white-collar recruitment efforts, he secured and onboarded highly skilled technical engineering and project delivery resources within extremely competitive and tight talent markets. As a key member of thyssenkrupp’s HR team, he designed and built a sustainable internal recruitment capability to meet aggressive national hiring objectives, recognised with the achievement of the firm’s “Make Your Mark Award” in 2019.

With his keen interest in, and passion for meeting and developing people, Ben has undertaken recent studies and training to become a career coaching professional, enabling his inherent curiosity in people’s personal and professional aspirations to find a platform for them to attain and exceed their own definition of excellence and success. As a Director of Greenlit, he’s in his dream job – discovering potential, helping it thrive, and enriching personal and professional lives.

People and development are also central for Ben outside of his Greenlit life, whether he’s spending time as a local AFL coach, volunteering with several charities, or enjoying valuable time with his family and friends. He’s also known as a bit of fitness junkie, often searching for the next challenging (crazy?) adventure race to test his determination & resilience.
